With an array of awards from around the Australian country music scene including the South Australian Senior Entertainer of the Year, there is one award that Tammy treasures in particular. 'Impartiality' is about friends, family, dreams and the world. It is not a matter of religion or race but more an answer to our insecurities and the prospect of a brighter future. "When I write my songs it's pretty much like putting my heart on a silver platter and saying 'There you go, eat your heart out!'. It can be a scary thing to express your intimate feelings with the whole world, particularly when you are trying to send a message of hope and love because it's a lot more personal, so it is a great honour to receive this award and to share my stories with people." |
