Phil, is a true blue South Australian. For him it all began back in the seventies.

He started to play in cabaret bands as a singer/guitarist all over Adelaide and surrounding country areas. During those years he spent many hours playing in clubs and hotels.

In more recent times he has worked as a soloist and has appeared mainly within the country music scene.

These days he says, ‘the best music is country music’.

Phil has been a regular performer at the Riverland, Murraylands and Northern Country Music Festivals for the some years. He has won two awards at the Port Pirie.

A highlight of Phil’s music is his guitar playing.

He still plays his Fender Stratocaster which he bought brand new in 1974.

He has vast repertoire of instrumentals. They range from the styles of Lindsey Butler to Duane Eddy to the Shadows.

Phil has released three CDs.

They all contain a tasteful selection of vocal and instrumental music and all with that unmistakable country touch.
