In May 2010 Angela became the Trans Tasman Entertainer of the Year on Norfolk Island.

Angela Easson is an accomplished performer dedicated to reaching her highest potential in the country music industry.

Awarded the 2009/2010 South Australian Champion of Champions, Angela is actively songwriting in preparation for exciting plans in 2010.

Angela began singing at the age of 10, and at 14, wrote her first song dedicated to her late grandfather, continuing to further her skills through her teenage years by attending various songwriting and music seminars.

She was an active member of the South East Country Music Association until moving to Adelaide in 1997 to further her music career.  This may have helped her ‘big break’ in 1998 when she was awarded the first South Australian Junior Champion of Champions, going on to win many prestigious awards at talent quests around South Australia and Victoria.

Throughout the past seven years Angela has worked with many South Australian musicians, branching into different genres including pop, jazz and blues. An active member in the community, including the lead vocalist for the Onkaparinga Big Band, Angela’s passion for country music saw her return to this genre in 2008. Angela has been involved in various charity events including the Blanchetown Country Music Campout, raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctors Service, and the Kapunda Country Music for Cancer.

2010 is shaping up to be a big year for the 2009 Senior Champion of Champions. Angela Easson not only has the pleasure of representing South Australia at the Norfolk Island Trans Tasman Entertainer of the Year Award in May, but has recently won the Rocky Page Memorial Scholarship to attend the CMAA Australian Academy of Country Music in June 2010.

Angela is actively songwriting in preparation for the recording and release of her debut EP, due out November 2010 and is certainly on the right track to becoming a highly accomplished singer/songwriter in the Australian country music industry.
